Rethinking Decision Making in the Modern World

Information search is no longer about how much information we have access to. The modern world presents new challenges to which the old decision-making "playbook" is irrelevant. I study the new harms and fast-changing environment of consumer decision space and provide insights on how to adapt to and cope with these changes.

Decision Capacity and Endurance

Effortful and rational decision making can (unfortunately) backfire sometimes. I study the role of decision capacity in building decision endurance for consumers.

(Financial) Help-Seeking

When decisions feel difficult, important, and beyond our control, we seek help. I examine this behavior primarily in the financial domain.

Health and well-being are important to us all, but things don't always go as we hope (such as our lack of motivation and a global pandemic). I study the how and why.
